Cloudzy Invites Academic Projects to Apply for Cloud Infrastructure, Highlighting Five University Partnerships

Cloudzy, offers cloud credits and discounted computing resources to eligible academic initiatives, building on partnerships with five universities.

We know what we can contribute. The students and researchers bring the ideas and expertise. Our part is to understand what they need and find a practical way to support their work.”
— Aler Rab, Deputy CEO of Cloudzy

DUBAI, DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, October 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The first university teams to partner with Cloudzy build race cars and rockets. But the company's education initiative isn't a motorsport or aerospace sponsorship program.

Cloudzy is inviting universities, researchers, professors, and student-led projects across academic disciplines to explore cloud infrastructure support through its Cloudzy Education Program, highlighting five existing university partnerships as examples of the initiative in practice.

Established in April 2025, the program provides qualifying academic initiatives with cloud credits and access to computing infrastructure, including virtual private servers and GPU resources. Its purpose is to make those resources more accessible to projects that need them, without restricting applications to particular fields of study.

The program's five active university partnerships span four countries:

- University of Toronto Formula Racing, Canada — a student-led Formula SAE team covering vehicle design, manufacturing, electronics, and software.
- Dynamis PRC, Politecnico di Milano, Italy — a Formula Student team developing electric and autonomous racing prototypes.
- UCalgary Racing, University of Calgary, Canada — a student engineering team developing electric open-wheel race cars.
- UW Formula Motorsports, University of Washington, United States — a Formula SAE Electric team with an autonomous vehicle program.
- University of Birmingham Rocket Propulsion Labs, UAE — a Dubai-based student aerospace laboratory working on rocketry, avionics, structures, and telemetry.

These teams were among the early participants in the initiative. Their disciplines reflect the projects that initially approached Cloudzy, rather than a restriction on who can apply.

The program provides infrastructure support rather than financial grants. Applications from different academic fields are reviewed individually, with eligibility and resources assessed according to the project.

Interested universities, faculty members, research groups, and student teams can explore the program and apply at https://cloudzy.com/education-program/.
