Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites Hires Boehm as Vice President of Development

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has hired Jennifer Boehm as the vice president of development. Boehm brings extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic growth and public leadership to the organization.

In her new role, Boehm will oversee the fundraising efforts for the museum system, focusing on building and strengthening donor relationships to support the nonprofit organization’s mission and goals.

Boehm’s background includes a decade-long tenure as assistant vice chancellor in the Indiana University Indianapolis Office of Community Engagement where she led communications, government relations, assessment, strategic planning and community engagement initiatives. She originally joined IU Indianapolis in 2005 as director of community relations.

Boehm earned her bachelor of arts in marketing at Michigan State University before pursuing a master of arts in media studies from The New School University in New York.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Boehm has served the community as a member of the boards of Rebuilding Together Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, the Nora Northside Community Council and the International Association of Business Communicators Indianapolis Chapter, among others.
