While studying at the California Institute of Asian Studies, Dr. Rosengarten was first introduced to Tarot, playing cards commonly associated with fortune-telling. Dr. Rosengarten was more interested in exploring the Tarot cards from the perspective of a psychologist. He would go on to write the first doctoral dissertation on the Tarot, comparing it with dream analysis and projective storytelling.

“I saw immediately that these symbols could have incredible value in psychotherapy,” says Dr. Rosengarten. “You have these rich, ambiguous images that are psychological in nature.”

Today, Dr. Rosengarten is the author of several books on the Tarot, including Tarot and Psychology: Spectrums of Possibility, which has been in print for 16 years and is widely considered the classic in the field. The book speaks to people interested in alternative approaches to therapy dialogue.

Auto/Mate Dealership Systems announced today that Keiser University, based in West Palm Beach, FL, selected Auto/Mate's dealership management system (DMS) to use as part of the curriculum for its Automotive Dealership Management program. The program provides future auto dealers and professionals with the skills and education necessary for successful, high-level careers in the retail automotive industry.

Studies show that thirty-four percent of current dealer principals will soon be retired. Coursework is designed to equip students with the education, skills and techniques to thrive in this new environment.

Ground Broken for Intermountain Transformation Center

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, USA, January 26, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Ground was officially broken January 25th for the Intermountain Kem Gardner Transformation Center. The center, to be built and operated by Intermountain Healthcare, will be the home for institutes that train healthcare leaders seeking to transform the way care is provided in the U.S. and around the world, achieving the highest clinical quality at the lowest sustainable cost.

Intermountain will build the 120,000-square-foot Transformation Center on the Intermountain Medical Center campus in Murray. Construction of the four-story facility should be complete in 2018.

The Transformation Center will be the base for a number of Intermountain programs, including:

Intermountain Healthcare Leadership Institute. Led by Charles Sorenson, MD, president emeritus of Intermountain, the Leadership Institute will offer multi-day leadership courses to senior-level healthcare physician leaders and administrators from the U.S. and other countries.

Intermountain Institute for Healthcare Delivery Research. Led by Brent James, MD, Intermountain’s chief quality officer, this Institute has trained nearly 5,000 senior physicians, nursing, and administrative executives, drawn from around the world, in clinical management methods. The Institute also has nearly 50 “daughter” training programs in nine countries.

Clinical Programs and innovation programs. With more than 1,500 active research studies in more than 20 clinical areas, Intermountain is equipped to make medical discoveries that improve care and save lives.

The Transformation Center is being funded in part by a $20 million donation to the Intermountain Foundation by Utah philanthropist Kem Gardner. Mr. Gardner has served on Intermountain boards for 34 years and was Chair of the Intermountain Board from 2007-2012. He currently chairs the Intermountain Foundation Board.
