Robotic Surgery is philosophy of New Millenium

— Rajneesh Mishra

GURGAON, NCR DELHI, INDIA, December 31, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon is one of the most popular laparoscopic and robotic surgery training institute of the World. World Laparoscopy Hospital is the only institute in Asia which gives structured da Vinci robotic surgery training in structured manner and after this Hands On training surgeons, urologists and gynaecologists become eligible for Fellowship of International College of Robotic Surgeons.

According to Dr. R.K. Mishra, Director, World Laparoscopy Hospital, this course provides a unique opportunity for the surgeons and gynaecologists working in robotics to learn strategies for successful robotic surgery across multiple specialties from the pre-, intra-, and post-operative perspectives.

World Laparoscopy Hospital is imparting robotic surgery training since 2010 and within 6 years more than 600 surgeons and gynaecologists have been trained for robotic surgery from more than 30 countries. The mission of the WLH is to efficiently facilitate fellowship programs to internationally exchange fellows to observe, train and educate in their field of robotic surgery.
The course will consist of live moderated surgical demonstrations, didactic lectures, breakout sessions and hands-on workshops that cover areas such as robotic surgery skill development, optimizing efficiency, team management, assist strategies, communication, organization, positioning, safety concerns, troubleshooting, and more!

World Laparoscopy Hospital has focused Simulation robotic surgery lab portion as opposed to watching live surgery where surgeons will be given direct Hands On over four arm HD Da Vinci Robot. They can learn robotic suturing, knotting and various dissection techniques under the supervision of experts.

According to Dr Mishra in Asia there is no readily available curriculum for robotic surgery which includes self-assessment of knowledge. Residents and consultants need a resource to obtain up-to-date information about robotic surgery of the Uterus, Ovary, prostate, kidney, bladder and pelvic floor as well as Morbid obesity surgery. They need to learn the surgical techniques for common applications for da Vinci robotic surgery. WLH is providing these aspirant surgeons a unique opportunity of skill development.

World Laparoscopy Hospital is already a well-known institute on laparoscopic surgery but in the field of robotic surgery their initiative to train surgeons and gynaecologists is first of its kind in Asia.

The objectives of this robotic surgery fellowship program offered by WLH is to introduce urologists, surgeons and gynaecologist to robot-assisted surgery. The education will focus on: safely learning the basics of robot-assisted surgery by training on the real da Vinci robot not on simulator with a training curriculum and completing 16 hours of console time; transitioning the skills acquired with the da Vinci Surgical System (DVSS); observing the surgical support team to learn about OR setup, instrumentation, and troubleshooting techniques. The trainee will also get hands on experience with conventional laparoscopic training. The remaining period of the Mini-fellowship will be spent observing cases, such as bariatric surgery, hernia surgery, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion, nephrectomy, and partial nephrectomy.

A candidate who is interested in this fellowship of international college of robotic surgeon’s program of World Laparoscopy Hospital must initially fill up the online application form available at World Laparoscopy Hospital website. South Korea Dominates the World Again in Education in 2016

South Korea’s Education ranks the best in the world for a third year in a row.

We don’t know if this is a good sign, or that these countries have chosen to focus more on standardized testing. Rather, then focusing on improving the quality of education. The verdict is still out

— Albert Mitchell II, NJ MED’s CEO and Founder

CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY, USA, December 31, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — NJ MED’s Fourth Annual World Rankings of the 20 Best Education Systems for 2016 has South Korea ranked number one. The ranking system measures the success of 209 countries, in education for students 3 to 25 year olds.

The rankings include early-childhood enrollments, international test scores in Math, Science and Reading for 10 and 14 year olds, and High School and College graduation rates. This year, South Korea beat out Japan for the third year in a row, for first place.

South Korean students continue to outperform every country in annual college graduation rates, and finish near the top international test scores in Math and Science for 10 and 14 year olds.

The biggest mover in this year ranking was Russia. They moved up to number three from last year’s rankings, and became Europe’s number one ranked country in education. The other big mover in this year ranking was the United States, which advanced 10 places from number 17 to number 7.

NJ MED’s CEO and Founder, Mr. Albert Mitchell II, said, “For the first time, the world’s three major powers – Russia, the United States, and China – ranked in the top 10. In the beginning of the year, none of them projected, to make the top 10, based on their government’s lack of new investment in funding education.”

Mr. Mitchell II added, “We don’t know if this is a good sign, or that these countries have chosen to focus more on standardized testing. Rather, then focusing on improving the quality of education. The verdict is still out, that teaching to the test, will make smarter future workers.”

Here is the list of the Top 10 ranked countries:
1. South Korea
2. Japan
3. Russia
4. Singapore
5. Finland
6. United Kingdom
7. USA
8. Denmark
9. China
10. Netherlands

The complete 2016 rankings of the world’s 20 best education system are available on NJ MED’s website.

Developing Character and Promoting Strong Social Skills to Children in Low-Income Communities

I am profoundly grateful for these donors. For many children, this gift will be the first book they will ever own.

— Loretta Neff, founder of the EW Foundation

PALM BEACH, FL, USA, December 29, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — EW Foundation Inc., a 501(3)(c) nonprofit, announced today that it recently secured $17,500 in additional sponsorships for its 3rd annual musical brunch, Books, Bellinis, and Bel Canto, to be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Club Colette in Palm Beach, Florida, with all net proceeds supporting EWF’s character education outreach programs to children in low-income communities.

Michael D. Rumbaugh of the Laurie A. Rumbaugh Family Foundation in Columbus, Ohio led the effort as a Legacy Society donor with a $7,500 Bambini sponsorship in honor of his late wife, Laurie, a mother of three and former teacher who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2015. Michael, along with children, Brock, Braelyn and Darby, will present their gift of story time with signed books to a Title I elementary in the Columbus, Ohio area in the spring.

Cheryl and Mark Montgomery of Winter Park, Florida continued the effort with their generous donation of $5,000 to become a Legacy Society donor and Bellini Reception sponsor in recognition of EWF’s achievements. A Title I elementary gift recipient in the greater Orlando area is currently being selected.

Rounding out the season of giving, Orlando residents, Dean and Raymer F. Maguire, III, also provided a Legacy Society donation of $5,000. For more than fifty years, four generations of the Maguire family have been passionately involved in philanthropic efforts related to education. Dean lovingly devotes her time each day to the education of our youth as a teacher for at-risk students in the Orlando public school system. She also serves as an EWF advisory board member.

“I am profoundly grateful for these donors”, commented Loretta Neff, founder of the EW Foundation. “Their support underscores the value of our programs, and helps drive our mission to provide successful outcomes for children with limited resources. For many children, this gift will be the first book they will ever own,” added Ms. Neff.

These extraordinary acts of generosity and support propel EWF toward reaching its goal of impacting over 10,000 children by the end of 2016. With seven (7) Title I schools on the wait list in states of Florida, New Jersey and Ohio, these funds provide much needed underwriting for story time author visits with signed copies for every child.

Since 2014, EWF has benefited over 8,900 children with their award winning character education programs and provided author visits and signed copies of their first book, Tame Your Manners, to nineteen (19) academies and schools and fourteen (14) charities.

Teaching Peace Instead of War

A New, Free Resource For Aspiring Peacemakers

Taking this course, learning all you can from it, and applying it in your own life, is your opportunity to become part of a great chain of peacemakers.

— Zach Perlman (webmaster)

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA, December 28, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — It has been said that, unless we teach our children peace someone else will teach them war. The world we are living in does seem to need at least a few more people versed in the history and skills of peacemaking.

Most of us want peace on earth, but where do we begin? How about a free, introductory, online course? You might expect there to be a wide variety of such courses online, but you'd be mistaken. For example, searches on Udemy and Coursera currently yield zero results. Such courses are actually very few in number. And what can be found online is usually either highly academic or politically biased. To remedy this situation a website called PeaceCourse.org has just launched a project which it developed to fill this specific need.

Designed for young adults and aspiring peacemakers, the lessons in this introductory peace studies course are comprised mostly of famous speeches and essays. You'll hear advice from historical giants such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Mohandas Gandhi, Dorothy Day, Thich Nhat Hanh, Albert Schweitzer, Henry David Thoreau, and more.

Most of the topics feature mp3 audio narration and high impact photography, not merely paragraphs of text. The audio files can even be downloaded and saved to a computer, mp3 player, or smartphone.

Digging into the lessons, first you get a historical overview of when, how, and why nonviolence works. Next you will see how the golden rule spans nearly all religious traditions. As you progress you will learn about the axioms of nonviolence, the innermost thoughts of famous peace activists, the duty of civil disobedience, the power of nonviolent resistance, and how peace is every step.

When planning the curriculum, the creators of PeaceCourse.org consulted several peace institutes, nonprofit organizations, and teachers of peace studies. Excellent content was gleaned from and freely shared by sources like the Center for Teaching Peace and the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict. The result is a unique blend of introductory information intended to inspire further interest in peace studies.

"Taking this course, learning all you can from it, and applying it in your own life, is your opportunity to become part of a great chain of peacemakers." – Zach Perlman (webmaster)

Hundreds of people from all around the world have taken the course. For several years the website was hosted and maintained under the umbrella of an interfaith organization called Monks Without Borders, but in 2012 that organization was restructured and the course went offline. Feeling a renewed sense of urgency to share this information with a world that very much needs it, its original creators, Zach Perlman and Ryan Duggan, have decided to put it back online. The website has been rebuilt to include modern features like a phone friendly layout, plus integration with wordpress, facebook, and more.

Donnamarie Chaimanis/Regional VP Luxury Divison

Laffey Real Estate Embraces Program Focused on Leadership Mastery

By creating a leadership platform for managers, LeadingRE has raised the bar for its member brokerages. The program has a highly effective curriculum that can be applied to produce tangible results.

— Julian Armas/Branch Manager

GREENVALE, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, December 27, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — Laffey Real Estate recognizes Julian Armas and Donnamarie Chaimanis as 2016 graduates of prestigious MAESTRO Leadership Certification Program.

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE) launched the pilot one year ago in the style of an executive MBA course. The six-month leadership training course is for real estate managers to develop talented and highly effective real estate leaders within their own markets. LeadingRE created MAESTRO to develop and enhance the leadership and coaching skills of managers within LeadingRE brokerages to further equip them to take their agents and offices to even higher performance levels with increased confidence and proven methodology.

Julian Armas and Donnamarie Chaimanis, along with 30 other real estate sales managers from top brokerages around the country, graduated from the critically acclaimed program. Based on proprietary and validated research conducted by LeadingRE with 300 sales managers, the rigorous MAESTRO program encompasses three pillars of great office leadership, as determined by the research. It is the first program of its kind in the industry, with the goal of using science and art to establish and practice leadership mastery.
Open only to members of LeadingRE, the program has been designed by a lead faculty comprised of Mike Staver of The Staver Group and practicing real estate leaders Rosey Koberlein, CEO of Long Realty, and Phyllis Brookshire, president of Allen Tate Realtors, along with a number of other subject matter experts from within the industry and beyond it.

Participants, who applied to be accepted into the program, attended three live sessions held at LeadingRE’s Chicago headquarters that included lectures and interactive workshops incorporating ‘real life’ exercises, case studies and group activities. Ongoing support from staff and fellow participants ensures continued engagement and measurable results from the program.

Julian Armas, Branch Manager, has a history of embracing professional enrichment. A two time Floyd Wickman Team Leader, Julian’s fifteen years in real estate have shown him that in order to stay relevant you have to continue to learn. “By creating a leadership platform for branch and sales managers, LeadingRE has raised the bar for its member brokerages,” offered Armas when asked about the merits of the program. The Maestro program is one-of-a-kind, highly effective curriculum that can be applied to produce tangible results.”

Donnamarie Chaimanis, Regional VP Luxury Division, used the opportunity to enhance her leadership skill sets. With just over a decade in residential real estate, Donnamarie recognized how the MAESTRO program could impact the way she conducted business in the future. “Great leaders learn from awesome mentors who have a true commitment to success,” explained Chaimanis. “Maestro raises the bar through enhancements and a sales development program of leaders. Rethinking your audience commands a great Maestro. I am honored to have been selected to join an amazing group of leaders from all over the country.”

“We are delighted to have such an accomplished group of professionals graduate from our MAESTRO Leadership program,” said LeadingRE President/CEO Pam O’Connor. “Their commitment to enhancing their leadership and coaching skills so they can take their agents and offices to even higher performance levels is commendable, and we congratulate them on this achievement.”

Both Armas and Chaimanis were among a prestigious group of participants from 14 states, as well as Mexico. Graduation took place on the past day of the Program with each participant being recognized individually for their commitment and accomplishment of the program. Program graduates will be acknowledged at the upcoming Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) Sales Manager SUMMIT taking place March 3-5 at the Fountainebleau Miami Beach, Florida.
